Dear sponsors and prospective sponsors,
First of all I would like to thank all past sponsors of the Cascade Cream Puff (100 mile mountain bike race). Sponsorship adds an immeasurable quality to the overall success of the event!

I am the founder of the CCP and this will be my seventh year as Race Director. Two years ago was my returning year as Race Director, after an eight year hiatus. One of my personal goals for the CCP has always been to hold the quality of the event to the highest level! I have continued my involvement with the race since its inception, and I have striven to have the past race directorship keep with my personal goal of a highest quality event. This year will be the 14th year running of the race! I am very proud of its success! This years event will be held on Sunday, July 12th, 2009.

The web page for this event is at: www.cascadecreampuff.com . I plan to keep this address indefinitely. Sponsors will stay active on the site throughout the year, as well as links to your web pages (as long as your sponsorship level entitles you to link services). In regards to the web site I will strive for fiscal years to run from April through March. I will need pledges and levels of sponsorship commitment by April 15th (in order to allow time to go to print); of course, the sooner your commitment the sooner I can follow through with my end (especially in regards to the website).

The following are various levels of sponsorship and return services rendered. Each subsequent level will include the above levels of service in addition to the added sponsorship benefit at the current level (calculations will be based on retail value):

$200.00 or less cash or services: will be mentioned at pre-race raffle and volunteer party.

$200.00 - $299.99: logo on sponsors page (on website) and printed name on T-shirt.

$300.00 - $499.99: larger logo on sponsors page with link to your business web site, logo on T-shirt.

$500.00 - $999.99: (¼ cash, ¾ goods or services) larger than above logo on sponsors page with link, larger logo on T-shirt, printed name on personalized # plates (a racers’ keepsake).

$1,000.00 - $1,999.99: (¼ cash, ¾ goods or services) logo and link from www.cascadecreampuff.com homepage, banner displayed at staging (camping) area, 2nd logo and link from sponsors page, one entry into event for every $1,000.00 cash contribution, larger logo on T-shirt.

$2,000.00 - $2,999.99: (¼ cash, ¾ goods or services) banners displayed at staging area and aid stations, larger logo (and link) from homepage, 2nd larger logo (and link) from sponsors page, larger logo on T-shirt.

$3,000.00 - $4,999.99: logo on water bottles, logo on personalized # plates, larger logo (and link) on homepage and sponsors page.

$5,000.00 - $9,999.99: (¼ cash, ¾ goods or services) embroidered logo on finisher hats.

$10,000.00 - $29,999.99: (¼ cash, ¾ goods or services) I haven’t figured out this level (make me an offer I can’t refuse).

$30,000.00 - $49,999.99: (½ cash, ½ goods or services) one year title sponsorship, largest logo on all material printed or produced for Cascade Cream Puff.

$50,000.00: (½ cash, ½ goods or services) two years title sponsorship of Cascade Cream Puff.
