Oakridge Trails Alliance
The Oakridge Trails Alliance (formerly Alpine Trail Crew Association) recognizes that we are working on the traditional homelands of Native peoples of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde, Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians of Oregon, The Klamath Tribes, and Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs. We recognize these Native peoples are the original stewards of this territory and we honor them through our continued efforts to learn more about and help preserve an authentic connection to the culture, ecology and history of the area.
The Oakridge Trails Alliance (OTA) is the official non-profit trails stewardship organization of the Cascade Cream Puff and the Alpine Epic. The mission of OTA is to preserve and protect trails throughout the Middle Fork Ranger District of the Willamette National Forest, for future generations of outdoor enthusiasts, while also educating future trail stewards on sustainable trail building and maintenance techniques.
OTA will build and promote an inclusive culture that encourages, supports and celebrates working together toward our mission with individuals, communities and other organizations. OTA does not discriminate on the basis of age, race, gender, sexual orientation, physical disabilities/abilities, national origin, political affiliation, veteran status or socio-economic background. We will do this by growing partnerships to collectively build and maintain the trails of the Middle Fork Willamette District and foster actions that improve outdoor recreation and a connection for the benefit of the environment and our surrounding communities.
If you can't make a build day, you can still contribute by donating - every little bit helps, and every dollar goes back to support the Alpine Trail System when donated through PayPal. Thank you for your consideration, and giving back to this awesome trail!
Please join us on Facebook and Instagram @alpinetrailcrew, message us with your ideas for improving trails and reaching out to new audiences, post your favorite Alpine Trail photos with #alpinelove, and consider donating to the cause and/or joining us for one of our many upcoming build days! This is your forest! Celebrate by helping us sustain trails in the Middle Fork Willamette National Forest!
